With more than 50 years of banking tradition, trust and an excellent Client Server, LGB BANK has today become one of Lebanon's entrenched banks.
LGB BANK was founded in 1963 under the name Banque de Credit Agricole s.a.l. and adopted its current name and shareholder form in 1980, when a group of businesspeople (led by the current chairperson) acquired the majority of its shares.
The bank currently operates from its headquarters in the Central District of Beirut, supported by 17 branches throughout the country and branches in Cyprus since 1986, as well as a representative office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Today, as one of the most developmental and dynamic institutions in the country, the bank is committed to a systematic expansion strategy. In 2013, the latter translated into an enhancement of LGB BANK's operational and IT infrastructure, a substantial increase in profits and deposits, and most importantly, a process of centralized modernization and development of its human capital.
The bank's expansion strategy is taking place in parallel in Lebanon and the Middle East, as LGB BANK is pioneering new addressable markets. By the beginning of 2013, the bank had started a new branding effort that is expected to take it to new heights in line with its business strategy. With its dedication and clear vision, LGB BANK continues to build strong relationships with its customers through a personalized approach, proven service, and "innovative products" that meet their financial aspirations.
