RUOKU BANK (Japanese: みちのくぎんこう Michinoku-ginky) is a local bank located in Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture, Japan.
SUMMARY
In 1976, RUOKU BANK merged with Hirosaki Mutual Bank to form RUOKU BANK. It was the first case in Japan where a local bank and a mutual bank merged to form a new bank. It was also the first bank in Japan to use Hiragana in its name.
The company's slogan is "Family Bank, RUOKU BANK"
It is the second largest Financial Institution Group in Aomori Prefecture after Aomori Bank. It is well-capitalized and has a considerable number of branches outside Aomori Prefecture.
