On April 25, 1957, Banqiao Credit Cooperative Was Founded And Officially Operated On The International Cooperation Festival On July 5.
On January 8, 1971, It Merged With Yonghe Township Credit Cooperative.
On September 29, 1997, It Was Generally Accepted By Kaohsiung Fifth Credit Cooperative (Financial Institution Group Code: 206).
On September 30, 1997, It Was Officially Restructured Into Banxin Commercial Bank Co., Ltd.
On March 7, 2005, Banxin Commercial Bank Generally Accepted Chiayi First Credit Cooperative (Financial Institution Group Code: 176).
On October 30, 2013, Banxin Commercial Bank Announced: "It Will Acquire Taipei Ninth Credit Cooperative (abbreviated As Taipei Ninth Credit, Financial Institution Group Code: 106) For 3.98 Billion Yuan, And Generally Accept The Business And Asset Liabilities Of Taipei Ninth Credit. As Of The End Of June 2013, Taipei Ninth Credit Had 7,857,239 Shares, With A Dividend Of 100 Yuan Per Share And A Member's Equity Of 1.70 Billion Yuan. The Total Deposits Were 24.70 Billion Yuan And The Total Loans Were 16.30 Billion Yuan, Resulting In A Cumulative Profit And Loss Of 72.86 Million Yuan."
On July 21, 2014, Banxin Commercial Bank And Taipei Ninth Credit Officially Merged. After Taipei Ninth Credit Acquired 18 Branches As A Company, Banxin Has 24 Branches In Taipei City. Zheng Mingkun, General Manager Of Banxin Commercial Bank, Said: "After Banxin Merges Taipei Ninth Credit, It Will Strive To Achieve The Goal Of 1.20 Billion Yuan In Pre-deposit Surplus. It Is Expected To Resume Dividend Distribution After 2015, And May Continue To Merge Other Credit Unions In Taipei City In The Future."
In September 2017, The New North District Prosecutor's Office Accused The Chairperson, Liu Binghui, And His Wife Of Purchasing Land From A Subsidiary Of Banxin Bank In 2009, And Then Applying For An Unsecured Loan From Banxin Bank. The Case Of Concealing Related Party Transactions Was Prosecuted For Violating The Banking Law And The Securities Exchange Law, But The Company Said It Had No Negative Impact On The Current Overall Operation.
