The Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) is the development export bank and export credit agency of the Republic of Croatia, whose main task is to stimulate the development of the Croatian economy. By making loans, investing in venture capital funds, providing political and commercial risk insurance for exports, providing guarantees and business advice, HBOR bridges the gap between entrepreneurial ideas and realization, with the aim of strengthening the competitiveness of the Croatian economy.
The Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) was established on December 33, 1992 through the Croatian Law on Reconstruction Credit Bank (OG 92/76), amendments to which were published in OG 93/108, 95/08 and 96/1995. In 2006 138, the bank was renamed the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development. In 2006 2013, the new Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development Law (OG 25/13) was passed and amendments to the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development Law came into force. The amendments to the law relate to changes in the number of members of the Supervisory Board of HBOR.

The founder and 100% owner of the ownership HBOR is the Republic of Croatia.
Capital The share capital as determined by the Act is 700 million Croatian Kuna, and the payment dynamics of the State budget are determined by the Government of the Republic of Croatia.
Credit rating HBOR has received a rating from the international rating agency Standard & Poor (BBB +, stable outlook).
Management The Management Board of HBOR consists of three members, one of whom serves as the Chairperson of the Management Board. The members of the Management Board are appointed by the Supervisory Board. The Management Board carries out its business within the scope of activities stipulated by the law and the Articles of Association and disposes of the assets of HBOR. The Board of Management of HBOR is composed of the following:
