Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation (MUTB, japonés: Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation) es un gran banco fiduciario en Japón. Está controlado por Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group y es uno de los grupos de instituciones financieras más grandes del mundo en términos de activos.

Resumen

El 1 de octubre de 2005, con la fusión de Mitsubishi Tokyo Financial Group y UFJ Holdings, el respectivo Mitsubishi Trust and Banking Corporation y UFJ Trust Bank formó simultáneamente el nuevo Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation. 1927 - Se creó Kawasaki Trust Co., Ltd.

1947 - Kawasaki Trust Co., Ltd. pasó a llamarse Japan Trust Co., Ltd.

1948 - Japan Trust Co., Ltd. pasó a llamarse The Nippon Trust Bank, Ltd.

1948 - Mitsubishi Trust Co., Ltd. pasó a llamarse Asahi Trust Bank, Ltd.

1952 - Asahi Trust Bank, Ltd. pasó a llamarse Mitsubishi Trust and Banking Corporation.

1993 - The Tokyo Trust Bank, Ltd. (Entonces una filial de banca fiduciaria de The Bank of Tokyo) se estableció.

2001 - Mitsubishi Trust and Banking Corporation, The Nippon Trust Bank, Ltd. y The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd. se fusionaron a través de una transferencia de acciones para formar Mitsubishi Tokyo Financial Group, Inc.

2005 - UFJ Holdings y Mitsubishi Tokyo Financial Group anunciaron su fusión.

2005 - UFJ Trust Bank y Mitsubishi Trust and Banking Corporation se fusionaron oficialmente y rebautizaron Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation.
